Summary of driving of our foundation from his recreation in August 2001

Following is a succinct report of activities realized for the period starting August, 2001 by our Fundación Krishnamurti Hispanoamericana (FKH). For the sake of better presentation we are breaking down the activity geografically, thru our web site and other communication interchanges as follows:

Delegations throughout Latin American countries, the United States and Spain
We have presence with 14 delegates in Latin America, 2 in the United States and 1 in Spain, whose participation consists in spreading out the teachings in those countries that include: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela.
United States of America: Miami and Pennsylvania.
Spain : Tenerife.
Portugal : Lisboa.

Our web site is bilingual (Spanish-English). For better reference please find enclosed copy of the site for those representative images which are instantly accesible thru www.fkhispanoamericana.org address. This communication support has enabled us to register 1,450 persons from all over the world. In our site, we have created our Research Group who have worked on the " the physicological thought" and presently is working out on " the right kind of education". Likewise, we are providing information and linkages of other sister Krishnamurti Foundations as well as news and events being carried.

Other Activities:
We keep contact with more than 160 web pages that divulge texts and talks of Krishnamurti and with other groups and associations all over the world interested in Krishnamurti teachings. We use to project videos on talks and dialogues of Krishnamurti. We are keeping informed on the books which have been translated into Spanish and the new book editions. We are coordinating Research Groups on Krishnamurti teachings in various countries within Latin America striving to prevent from distortions or corrupt actions on the teachings.

December the 19th 1970 - December the 19th 2001

London, August the 28th 1968. The Krishnamurti Foundation is created as an entity responsible of the edition and publication of the books. Krishnamurti writes:" The Krishnamurti Foundation is the new organization without the dependency and psychological belonging that is generated by most of the organizations. It is very important to keep this in mind in all the labor that we all are performing. The cooperation is necessary, but the ugly and the brutal side of the organizations does not take place in what we intent to do. There is too much to do and it has never done in the past. We have to meet at least once per year, to consider everything as friends, to express our problems, and solve them". (The Years of Plenitude - Mary Lutyens ).

The first directors of the foundation were Krishnamurti, Mary Zimbalist, Alain Naudé, Geroge Digby, Dorothy Simmons, Conde Van der Straten, Gérard Blitz and Mary Cadogan as Secretary.

The first edited books by the new foundation were "The Flight of the Eagle" and "You are the World".

Later, Krishnamurti decided to replace that unique foundation by others that would have the responsibility of spreading the teachings in specific areas of the world. This was initiated in 1969 with the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust Limited (in London and responsible for spreading the teachings in Europe), and the Krishnamurti Foundation of America (in California and responsible for spreading the teachings in the USA). In the beginning of 1970 Krishnamurti created the Krishnamurti Foundation of India with the name "Foundation for the New Education" that operating with this name in India before.

The Krishnamurti Foundation of Hispanic-America.

In the middle of 1970, several Latin-American friends of Krishnamurti, beginning with Enrique Biascoechea, called his attention to create a foundation for the Hispanic World. This foundation was going to be established in Latin America and additionally would include Spain.

By 1935 Krishnamurti had made a tour in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, and had visited in several occasions countries in Central - America, and he has observed the awaken interest for the teachings. This motivated him to the creation of the fourth and last Foundation, and he personally signed the statutes of the Krishnamurti Foundation of Hispanic-America in 1970. 
On December the 19th of 1970 our Foundation was legally established, and until 1993 was doing an important printing and translation labor, concentrated in almost one hundred titles and in the video subtitling and dubbed.

Since August 2001, the headquarters of the KFH is in Buenos Aires and those who integrate its Board of Directors have as a priority the spread of the teachings and the re-creation of the Krishnamurti Information Centers in each one of the countries of Latin America for which we have begun designating those who will represent our Foundation as Representatives.

After twenty-one years of our Foundation the tremendous energy that created it is still impelling its action.
